Description

The Old Rectory is an early 19th-century rectory, now a private house. It is constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has a four-bay facade. To the left of centre on the front is an open-fronted, square porch with a flat roof and a top-lit, six-panel door. A two-light casement window sits within the left-hand bay, situated under a rubbed arch. The other bays feature three-light transomed windows, also under rubbed arches. On the first floor, the right-hand bays have three-light casement windows under rubbed arches. The left-hand bay has a blind window resembling this, and the left-centre bay has a two-light window similar in style. The roof is hipped with a ridge stack over the right-hand bays and a further stack behind the ridge to the left. A large 19th-century bay window is visible on the left-hand end, with a large window positioned above it.
