Description
The Old School is a building likely dating from the mid-19th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with quoins, sitting on a boulder plinth, and features a graduated slate roof. The building is a single tall storey with a lower porch that is set back, which adjoins the right-hand return. Originally, it had three bays but has been extended by one bay to the left. The porch contains a plank door and a small casement window. There are three tall fixed windows with glazing bars, although the second bay from the right is blank due to a flue rising behind it. A small bell is located in the right-hand gable, and there is a stone chimney at the left-hand end, along with a stepped stone chimney at the eaves. The current use of the building is uncertain.
