Description

Lunes Bridge is a bridge from the early to mid-19th century, constructed of roughly coursed limestone rubble. It features an elliptical main arch made with rough voussoirs and a segmental smaller flood arch at the eastern end. The parapets are made with vertically set stones, and there is an iron tie at the crown of the flood arch. The bridge is situated dramatically over a river filled with rocks.
