Description

The west gates to St James' churchyard, likely built around 1880, are made of cast and wrought iron. They feature a double gate with a kissing gate attached to the south. The gates are supported by octagonal cast-iron posts topped with ball finials, and the gates themselves have rod standards adorned with foliate fleurs-de-lis terminals. These gates are included for their group value.
