Description
The Former Pack Horse Inn is a building that likely dates back to the early 18th century. It was originally a public house and features squared rubble walls with a slate roof and brick additions. The structure has a two-unit, two-storey layout, with a brick bay added to either side in the 18th century, along with a further extension on the left. The building is accented with quoins and has a central studded and battened door that is framed by a chamfered surround and a heavy lintel. There are four windows on each floor, all appearing to be in later chamfered surrounds with 20th-century casements. The building has gable chimney stacks and mounting steps against the front wall. A small 20th-century addition is located at the rear, and the interior has undergone significant alterations.
