Description

No. 25 St John's Street is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed of stone and slate, featuring coursed rubble and a hipped slate roof on the right side. The building has quoins and a cornice, and it stands two storeys tall. The entrance consists of a central panelled door with a rectangular fanlight, set within a pilastered doorcase that includes incised Greek key moulding, a frieze, and a cornice. There are two 12-paned sash windows on the ground floor and three on the upper floor. Additionally, there is a two-storeyed canted bay window, which has three 12-paned sashes on each storey. Inside, the building features internal panelled shutters.
