Description

No. 93 Friar Gate is a building dating from around 1840. It is constructed of stone and has three storeys, with the ground storey featuring rusticated stonework. The facade includes four sash windows with plain surrounds, each topped with bracketed cornices and sills. The ground storey has two tripartite windows and a semi-circular headed doorway with a porch, which features a voluted keyblock and a four-panelled door. There are steps leading up to the entrance. The building is topped with bold eaves and a blocking course.
