Description

No. 4 Macaulay Street is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has stone brackets supporting the gutter. The front façade includes a range of tripartite stone mullioned sash windows, with the central lintel positioned higher than the other two. Additionally, there is another range of sash windows. The entrance door has four fielded panels and is topped by a fanlight. At the rear, there is a range of three-light stone mullioned sashes with glazing bars, along with one continuous staircase window.
