Description

Plantation House is a mid-19th century building located on Dundas Street. The ground floor features rock-faced rustication, while the upper levels are constructed with hammer-dressed stone. The building has ashlar quoins and dressings, and a hipped slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has a moulded eaves cornice. The façade includes four ranges of sash windows, with the ground floor windows being round-arched and adorned with alternating vermiculated voussoirs and a continuous moulded impost band. The entrance is marked by double doors that have moulded panels.
