Description

East Royd is a mid-19th century building located on East Street. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and is adorned with a modillioned eaves cornice and a blocking course. The corners are accentuated with rusticated quoins. There are three ranges of sash windows, with the central range projecting forward. The entrance door is concealed by an early 20th-century porch made of timber, which has a modillioned cornice and lead glazing bars.
