Description

Brunswick House, located at 1 East Street in Lindley, is a mid-19th century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone. It features a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The house has a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course that includes a central panelled die, flanked by pediment-shaped acroteria, each adorned with a sculpted wreath. The facade displays three ranges of sash windows, with the outer two set in slightly recessed two-storey panels. The entrance door, which has a fanlight and glazing bars, is sheltered by a Tuscan porch that includes a full entablature and a blocking course with a sculpted wreath.
