Description
20 Thomas Street is a 18th-century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone, featuring a pitched stone slate roof and coped gables. The structure has two storeys and stone consoles supporting the gutter. On the first floor, there are two modern casement windows in their original openings, a four-light stone mullioned sash window, one sash window, and a three-light stone mullioned sash window. The ground floor includes a casement window in a former doorway, a three-light stone mullioned window, and two three-light stone mullioned sash windows. There are three modern planked doors. The rear of the building has three ranges of three-light stone mullioned sash windows with glazing bars, one sash window on the first floor, and one modern window with glazing bars on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a door with two panels and a 19th-century cast iron knocker. A staircase window features six lights with glazing bars.
