Description

The archway between numbers 2 and 4 on East Street is part of a group of almshouses dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a four-centred arch set within an oblong frame. The archway has moulded jambs, which are adorned with two semi-circular recessions along the top.
