Description
Acre House is a mid-19th century building located on Acre Street in Lindley. It is constructed of ashlar and features a hipped slate roof. The house has two storeys and is adorned with a moulded eaves cornice, a blocking course, and a band. There are four ranges of sash windows with moulded surrounds, two of which are tripartite. The north range projects forward and includes a canted bay with sash windows, supported by Tuscan piers and topped with an entablature. The entrance door has four moulded panels and is set within a porch that features Tuscan columns and an entablature. The south elevation also showcases tripartite sashes, including one that is flanked by Ionic pilasters.
