79 East Street is an early 19th-century building constructed from hammer-dressed stone, topped with a pitched stone slate roof. The structure stands two storeys high and features stone brackets supporting the gutter. On the first floor, there is one sash window, one blocked window, and a two-light stone mullioned window. The ground floor is fitted with two mid or late 19th-century casement windows.
