Description

Nos 1 and 2 Union Bank Yard are early 19th-century buildings constructed from hammer-dressed stone, topped with a pitched stone slate roof. They stand three storeys tall and feature a continuous sill band at the first floor. The buildings have stone brackets supporting the gutter and five ranges of industrial windows, some of which are sashed and include glazing bars. The entrance door has six fielded panels and is set within a wooden frame adorned with Tuscan pilasters and a dentilled cornice. The exterior is finished with stone setts and flags.
