Description

Nos 32 and 34 Wood Street are mid-19th century buildings constructed from hammer-dressed stone with ashlar dressings and a hipped slate roof. They rise three storeys and feature a moulded eaves cornice and a blocking course. The buildings have continuous moulded sill bands and four ranges of windows. The upper floors have plain raised voussoirs, with segment-headed windows on the second floor and round-arched windows on the first floor. The ground floor windows are distinguished by rusticated voussoirs, particularly tall keystones, and moulded imposts. The doors consist of six moulded panels, and the buildings sit on a rock-faced plinth.
