Description
The Packhorse Inn, which includes attached former stables, is possibly from the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is pebbledashed over stone rubble and stands three storeys high. It features a round-arched doorway with Gothic glazing bars in the fanlight, as well as a keystone and imposts in the stone doorcase. There are two sash windows on each floor, all set within stone architraves and featuring glazing bars. To the left, there is a two-storeyed wing, and further to the east, there is a long low row of former stables made of stone rubble with a stone roof.
