Description
The King's Arms Hotel is an early 19th-century building located on Main Street in Keswick. It is three storeys tall and constructed of stuccoed stone. Number 21, which is slightly later in date, features a recessed ground floor supported by two round columns with a frieze and cornice. This section has two windows on the upper floors, divided by Victorian columns. Numbers 23 and 25 have a dentilled cornice at the top, with Victorian shop windows on the ground floor that include eleven round arches on slender piers, along with a fascia and cornice. Each upper floor of these buildings has four six-paned sash windows. The King's Arms Hotel itself has a panelled door, three sash windows on the first floor, and four sash windows on the top floor, all of which have had their glazing bars removed.
