Description
The County Hotel is an early 19th-century building, originally constructed with scored stucco over stone and featuring quoins, topped by a slate roof. It is three storeys high. A Roman Doric porch is present, incorporating two columns, pilasters, and a cornice. Six sash windows are located above, their glazing bars having been removed, and are set within stone architraves. A taller section to the left, originally a separate dwelling now incorporated into the hotel, has dormers and two windows on each floor. This section includes a two-storey canted bay with a cornice, and a former doorway which has been converted into a window with a cornice.
