NORTH BOVEY SX 78 NW 1/241 Barn immediately to east of Thorn - Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Probably C18. Granite rubble walls with corrugated iron roof half-hipped at either end. Long rectangular plan, probably shippons to ground floor with storage loft above. 2 storeys. Central doorway to ground and first floor. Further doorway to left on ground floor with loading door above it slightly to the right. Window to ground floor far right. At right-hand gable end is small probably original granite framed window opening on ground floor. Forms a group with Thorn Farmhouse (q.v.).
