NORTH BOVEY SX 78 SW 4/244 Barn immediately to west of - Youlden Farmhouse

GV II

Barn, altered in C20 to milking parlour. Probably late C18/early C19, altered later C20. Granite rubble walls built up at the top with cob. Corrugated iron roof, half-hipped at either end. Long rectangular plan, possibly formerly shippon on ground floor with loft above. 2 storeys. Doorways to left, left of centre and to right with window in between 2 right-hand ones occupying blocked doorway. All have brick dressings. Loading door to loft at first floor level on left gable end. Interior and roof structure not inspected.
