Description
This barn, located immediately to the west of Youlden Farmhouse, is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century to convert it into a milking parlour. The barn features granite rubble walls that are topped with cob and has a corrugated iron roof that is half-hipped at both ends. It has a long rectangular shape and is two storeys high. There are doorways to the left, left of centre, and to the right, with a window situated between the two right-hand doorways, which occupies a blocked doorway. All doorways have brick dressings. Additionally, there is a loading door for the loft located at first floor level on the left gable end. The interior and roof structure have not been inspected.
