Description
This is a road bridge over a tributary of the River Bovey, located east of Bawden Mill. It was probably built in the 19th century and is made of granite rubble. The bridge features large, roughly dressed granite slab lintels that support the structure on either side, along with coping stones forming a low parapet on the south side. The granite slabs rest on straight jambs, and the parapet on the south side has roughly squared coping stones and swept-out abutments on the west side. On the north side, instead of a parapet, the bridge has large rough granite boulders standing on end to form its edge. There is a small flood opening towards the west side.
