Description

Langaford Bridge is a single span road bridge that crosses the River Bovey. It was built in the early to mid-19th century and is constructed of granite rubble, featuring squared coping stones and dressed granite voussoirs. The bridge has a wide segmental voussoir arch, which includes a slightly projecting keystone and a moulded drip-course above. The arch is slightly cranked at the center, and the parapets are also cranked at the top center, with a slight projection at either end of the parapets on both faces.
