Description

Beetor Bridge is a road bridge located over the east Bovey stream in North Bovey. It dates from the mid-19th century and may be a rebuild of an earlier structure. The bridge is constructed from granite rubble, featuring dressed squared coping stones and dressed voussior stones in the arch. It has a segmental arch supported by straight jambs, and the design includes a cranked parapet with swept-out abutments.
