Description

The gate piers, dating from the 18th century, are located directly to the south-southeast of Old Yarde Farmhouse. They are made from coursed, roughly dressed granite blocks and feature an ogee moulded cornice with flat capping stones. Each pier has a tethering ring. There is a granite rubble garden wall attached on either side of the piers.
