Description

The Village Green Cross is a medieval village cross located in North Bovey. It is made of roughly cut granite and features a Latin cross that does not fit its socket stone, which is square at the bottom and octagonal above. The current cross was discovered in the early 19th century, where it was being used as a footbridge across a stream just below the village.
