NORTH BOVEY NORTH BOVEY SX 78 SW 4/232 - Chapel Cottage (formerly listed as 23.8.55 Thatchways)

GV II

Cottage. Probably C18 with C19 wing at front. Rendered granite rubble walls with thatched roof gabled to right. 1-hipped to left and wing in front. Originally probably 2 room plan with wing providing extra room on front of left room forming L- shaped plan. 2 storeys, 1 window front to main block and 1 window to front of wing. 2- and 3- light early C20 casements with glazing bars smaller older casement on 1st floor immediately to right of wing lean-to porch in angle with wing has C20 plank door. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
