Barn Approximately 8 Metres To North Of Youlden Farmhouse

This barn, located approximately 8 metres north of Youlden Farmhouse, likely dates from the 18th century. It features granite rubble walls with larger quoins and brick dressings around some openings. The roof is made of corrugated iron and is hipped at both ends. The barn has a long rectangular shape with a central threshing floor and a storage loft above, making it two storeys high. There is a tall cart entrance doorway to the left of the centre, which has double doors and a canopy above it. To the right, there are two smaller doorways with segmental arched brick lintels, along with a small window opening in between. Additionally, there is a first-floor loading door to the right of centre. The interior and roof structure have not been inspected.
