Description
This is a barn from the 18th century, located immediately to the west of Durdan Farmhouse. It features cob walls resting on rubble footings and has a hipped thatch roof. The barn has a long rectangular shape, with a threshing barn on the left, a shippon in the center, and a linhay at the right end.
The exterior is one storey high, with a loft above the central shippon and a hay tallet in the linhay on the right. The front is asymmetrical, featuring a wide cart entrance on the left and two narrow doorways in the center, which have a first-floor loading hatch between them. The linhay at the right end has wooden boards nailed across its former open front.
Inside, the roof structure is likely from the 19th century and consists of simple pegged A-frames.
