The cottage has a thatched roof adorned with decorative ridge thatching and a painted brick chimney stack. The building has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there are two segmental-headed 2-light casement windows, one from the 19th century and one from the 20th century. The first floor has one additional two-light window. To the left, there is a lean-to bread oven extension. Inside, the cottage retains early beams and an open fireplace.
