Description
Moat Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill and has a thatched roof with early brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a later single-storey lean-to at the left gable end and another at right angles to the rear right. It is 1½ storeys tall and has two eyebrow dormers. The windows are two and three-light metal casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a 19th-century plank door located off-centre to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
