Description
Wesleyan Chapel, dated 1841, features a square limestone datestone above the porch. The building is constructed of brick with a slate roof and has a rectangular plan, including a projecting porch at the right gable-end. It is a single-storey structure with tall round-headed blind arches on all sides. The side walls are illuminated by two round-headed sash windows set within partly blind archways, with narrower blind archways on either side. The gabled porch contains a 19th-century six-panel door, which has the upper two lights glazed, and is topped with a limestone lintel. The roof is hipped. The interior has not been inspected.
