Description

No. 45 Barton Street is a house in a row, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork, a concrete tile roof, and a brick stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a single window on the front. There is a two-light raking dormer in the mansard roof, positioned above narrow four-pane sash windows set in wide boxes. A 20th-century door is located near the centre, and both this door and the ground-floor window are topped by half-brick segmental arches. To the left, there is another door that serves No. 44, which is integrated into the fabric of No. 45. A ridge stack is located at the right gable, and the back of the house has 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
