Description
This gazebo, located approximately 20 meters north of Haw Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with a square plan. The south side has five stone steps bordered by low brick walls topped with sandstone cappings, leading up to double fielded 8-panel doors. These doors are flanked by fluted pilasters and an enriched frieze, topped with a triangular pediment. Each side of the building has original 24-pane sash windows with wide glazing bars and soldier arched heads. The roof is pyramidal and has a square sundial finial at the top. Inside, there is a small 19th-century cast iron fireplace located in the north-west corner.
