6/110 Gazebo c.10m south of Gowthorpe Manor House q.v. 6/108

GV II

Gazebo, early C17, red brick in English bond with some coloured headers, pantiles. Single storey cell with shaped gables, rubbed brick-kneelers. Principal facade to north with 4 brick pilaster strips and entablature, central doorway with flat arch; small flanking lozenge openings with leaded lights; 2 moulded bricks to gable above. Returns each with square opening having brick hood mould. South facade with wide inserted doorway, a square opening above with hood mould, now blocked with lozenge honeycomb brick.
