Gazebo C.10M South Of Gowthorpe Manor House Q.V. 6/108

This gazebo, dating from the early 17th century, is located approximately 10 meters south of Gowthorpe Manor House. It is constructed of red brick in English bond, featuring some coloured headers, and is topped with pantiles. The structure is a single-storey cell with shaped gables and rubbed brick kneelers. The principal facade faces north and includes four brick pilaster strips and an entablature. There is a central doorway with a flat arch, flanked by small lozenge openings with leaded lights. Above the gable, there are two moulded bricks. Each return side has a square opening with a brick hood mould. The south facade features a wide inserted doorway and a square opening above, which is now blocked and made of lozenge honeycomb brick.
