Description
The gazebo, located about 30 metres northwest of Home Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and features late 19th to early 20th century open-fronted shelter sheds attached to each side. The gazebo is constructed from rubble with a pantiled roof and limestone raised coped verges. The attached shelter sheds are made of brick, with three bays on each side and a double Roman tiled roof, which is not of architectural interest.
The rectangular gazebo has pointed arched openings at both the ground and first floors on the front and rear, with the ground floor rear opening blocked. The first floor rear retains Y-tracery of Gothic glazing bars, and there is a segmental-headed window opening at the upper level of the right return. Inside, the gazebo formerly had an upper floor, and a segmental-headed fireplace remains at the upper level to the left, along with some plain plasterwork. Home Farmhouse was originally a house, which is not included in the listing. The gazebo is similar to another gazebo at the Manor House.
