Description
This building, located at 7 Mill Street, is a house that was originally three small cottages, dating from the late 18th century. It features Flemish and English bond brickwork, a low-pitched tile roof, and brick stacks. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows. On the first floor, there are 20th-century steel casements, while the ground floor has two replacement casements; the left one is positioned under brick voussoirs, and the central one has a segmental arch with a fluted keystone and cornice. To the far right, there is a wide opening with garage doors set beneath a brick tympanum that leads to a segmental arch. Between the first and second bays, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door under a brick arch with a filled tympanum. A brick stack is located to the left and another to the right of the door, with a two-course brick string only on the right-hand unit. The interior has not been inspected, but there are straight joints between this property and the adjoining ones. This building is included mainly for its group value.
