Description

This is a small, two-and-a-half-story house located at the end of a row in Mill Street, Tewkesbury, and it adjoins No. 53 Church Street. The front of the house dates to the early 19th century, although it may incorporate earlier fabric. It is constructed of painted brick with a tile roof and a brick chimney stack.

The front elevation is narrow, featuring a single window on each floor and a roof light above. There is a shallow, three-light wooden casement window above the front door and a 16-pane sash window on the first floor, both set within half-brick segmental arches. A plank door is located to the right. A large area of brickwork is visible above the first-floor window, and the eaves are marked by brick dentils. A stone ridge tile with remains of a finial is positioned at the right end of the roof ridge. The interior has not been inspected. The house is joined to No. 2 Mill Street by a straight joint, suggesting it may have been built to fill a gap in the row.
