Description
No. 3 Mill Street is a small house located in a row, dating from the early 19th century, although it may incorporate earlier elements. The building features modified Flemish bond brickwork and has a tiled mansard roof with a brick chimney. It is two storeys high with an attic and has a single window on the front. There is a raking dormer with a two-light 20th-century steel casement window above 16-pane sash windows, which have flat cambered brick arches. To the right, there is a four-panel fielded door leading to a concrete step, topped with a segmental arch. The left gable, which is visible above the adjacent property, shows some light timber-framing and has a large square brick chimney. The interior has not been inspected. The brickwork on either side features straight joints.
