Description

This house dates from around 1800. It is constructed with brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, topped by a gabled roof with renewed tiles and brick chimney stacks. The building follows a two-unit plan.

The exterior is two storeys high with a three-window frontage. A dentilled brick cornice runs along the top. The entrance, positioned to the right of the centre, features a doorcase with fluted half-columns and fluted brackets supporting a six-fielded-panel door. The ground floor has two canted bay windows with flat roofs, each containing a 4/4/8/8/4/4 sash window. The first floor windows are irregularly spaced and feature timber lintels above 8/8 horned sashes set in wide frames. The left return has a pebbledashed gable, and a rear wing incorporates a lateral chimney stack.

The interior has not been inspected.

The building possesses group value – contributing to the architectural character and historic significance of the surrounding area.
