House, later subdivided into 2, now restored to a single dwelling. C17 with C18 and later alterations and additions. Painted brick with some timber-frame; gabled roof with renewed tiles and brick stacks to rear. 2-unit plan with outshut. EXTERIOR: single-storey plus attic; 3-window range. End of plat band visible to right. Entrance to right of centre has 3-fielded-panel door. Ground floor to left of entrance projects under lean-to roof continued to right over entrance and with hipped end over small-paned bay window to right end; wide window to projection has C20 small-paned casement. First floor has tall gabled half-dormers with 2-light casements and leaded glazing above wide transoms. Some exposed timber-frame to first floor centre and left. Right return wall probably a C19 rebuilding; segmental-headed window with 3-light small-paned casement with iron opening casement. Rear has catslide outshut with exposed end truss and single-storey gabled wing to end. INTERIOR: not inspected.
