Description
This is a late 18th-century house on the east side of High Street in Henley-in-Arden. It is a double-fronted building with an end passage. The building is constructed of brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, with some brickwork renewed. It has a tile roof with coped gables and brick end stacks. The facade is almost symmetrical, consisting of a two-window range with a main entrance to the left of centre. A top dentilled brick cornice runs along the top of the facade. The main entrance has a doorcase with pilasters and an entablature, leading to a late 20th-century 10-panel door. To the right end is a segmental-headed passage entrance with a 6-panel door. Flanking the main entrance are two-storey bow windows, with slender pilasters and entablatures to each floor, containing paired windows with six tall panes and iron opening panes. The attic has two hipped dormers with 20th-century small-paned casements; the one on the right is not aligned with the bow window below. The interior has not been inspected.
