Cottage. Mid C17-early C18. Square-panelled timber framing with rendered and painted brick infill on a limestone plinth; thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching; red brick stack. Rectangular plan with gable end to the road. C20 extensions in brick, not of special interest. West front: two tall 2-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing bars; 2-light eyebrow dormer upper right retaining early leaded panes on one side. C19 plank door far left within a moulded heavy wooden frame, hall-light with leaded panes above. Large C20 two-light steel casement with leaded panes to the gable end facing the road. C19 two-light casement with leaded panes close to the north-east corner of the east gable end. Axial stack. Interior not inspected.
