Two small houses in terrace. Early/mid C19 fronts. Incised render, double Roman tile roof with parapet wall, 3 brick stacks including large central square stack. Single range with one rear extension, 2 storeys with attic skylight. 2 windows, 16-pane sashes. Ground floor has central 16-pane sash (to No 17) and flanking C19 shop fronts. No 17 has moulded cornice on consoles and recessed half-glazed door to left, 4-light shop window with moulded pilasters cut off before base. No 19 has plain unmoulded cornice on very elaborate large consoles, recessed half-glazed door to left, 3-light plate glass shop window with round-arched lights. Included primarily for group value with Nos 34 and 36 High Street (q.v.), opposite.
