Description
No 32 is a house in a terrace, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It has a rendered exterior and a double Roman tile roof, with a brick end stack on the left side. The building is a single range featuring a low square carriage arch in the center. It stands two stories tall and has two windows, which are three-light casements with one transom and moulded wood architraves. On the ground floor, the carriage arch has a plain surround with a keystone. To the right of the arch is a plate glass window with a moulded wood surround, while to the left is a shop front from the early 19th century, which has a wood dentil cornice but includes a 20th-century infill window and door. This building is included primarily for its group value with Nos 34 and 28 High Street.
