Description

April Cottage is a pair of houses located at the end of a row in Minchinhampton, dating from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of random rubble limestone with yellow brick chimneys and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are two stories high and have a front with three windows, alternating with doorways on the ground floor, each featuring a six-panel door. The windows are twelve-pane sashes with keyed architraves and bracketed sills. There is a stucco cornice, which has been removed from No 19, and an ashlar blocking course. Above the doorway to No 17, there is a blocked recess. Each house has two chimneys mounted on the ridge and a rear wing. The interior has not been inspected.
