Description

6 and 8 Chapel Street are a pair of houses, likely built in the late 18th century, forming part of a row. They are constructed from limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and feature a stone slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high, with No. 8 having two bays and No. 6 having one bay. The windows have plain stone surrounds and a central square mullion, except for the left-hand window on the first floor of No. 8, which has a plain stone surround and a horizontal sliding sash. No. 8 has a door with plain reveals located in the left-hand bay, while No. 6 has a door to the right with a plain stone surround. A chimney is situated between the two houses.
