Description

16 and 18 Chapel Street are early 19th-century houses that form part of a row. They are constructed from squared watershot sandstone and feature a roof made of slate and stone slate. The buildings are two storeys high and are designed as a mirrored pair, each with one bay and paired central doorways. The windows are sashed and have plain stone surrounds. The doors consist of raised and fielded panels, also with plain stone surrounds, and there are three external stone steps leading up to them. Each house has end stacks.
