Description

EASTINGTON NUPEND SO 70 NE (east side) 6/75 Nupend Court II Formerly Nupend Farm, detached house. Late C18, with large C19 range to rear. Brick, pale local variety to older range, and red to rear range with brick dentils, moulded stone cornice and dressings, on stone plinth. Stone slate roof with brick end stacks. Double range, both 2 storeys and attic but with original range much lower and with single storey wing to left. C18 range has 3 windows, 16-pane sashes with splayed stone voussoirs and slightly dropped keystone, widely spaced with 2 small 2-light gabled dormers on eaves between. Ground floor has 3 similar with third window between left hand window and central door of 4 panels, top 2 fielded and lower 2 flush, with raking C20 porch hood on struts flanked by narrow plate glass sashes. Wing to left has 12- pane sashes. Rear range has large projecting stone porch with double half-glazed doors, flanking plate glass sashes with moulded stone cornice and architrave, segmental headed moulded stone windows to first floor and 3 segmental headed dormers. Interior not inspected.
